Graduated in Biological Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2002), master's degree in Internal Medicine from the State University of Campinas (2004) and Ph. of Neurobiology (2005-2006). He is currently Head of the Department of Genetics, Evolution, Microbiology and Immunology at the Institute of Biology at UNICAMP.
